An incident at a Seneca Falls business last Friday resulted in the arrest of a Seneca Falls man.
It is alleged that during the incident, Thomas Steele, Junior, used obscene and vulgar language while inside the business, which was witnessed by employees and patrons of the store. An argument between Steele and a woman spilled over into the parking lot, where the suspect was observed to allegedly be holding the woman around her waist so she could not disengage with him. It was reported to police that when the woman attempted to pull away, Steele would not let go and continued to use foul language.
Steele was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct and false imprisonment.
An Order of Protection was requested on behalf of the woman.
