A Hopewell man has been arrested in connection with an incident that occurred earlier this year.
Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies took 24-year-old Angel Lopez into custody on Wednesday on an arrest warrant stemming from an April 9 incident. He is charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Resisting Arrest.
Lopez was transported to the Ontario County Jail, where he was held for arraignment. He is scheduled to appear in Hopewell Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
