The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Honolulu, Hawaii, man on a probation violation warrant.
Deputies say 37-year-old Matthew McManus was wanted on a warrant issued by Newark Village Court on August 28, 2025, for failing to comply with probation requirements on multiple occasions. McManus was initially arrested by the Honolulu Police Department on July 20, 2025, for an unrelated charge.
He was extradited back to Wayne County on December 4th to answer to the probation violation warrant and was transported to the Wayne County Jail for processing.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
