A Village of Honeoye Falls man was arrested Saturday following a traffic stop in the Town of Palmyra, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies stopped 45-year-old Joshua Kesel of Quaker Meeting HS after observing signs of possible impairment. Kesel was given standardized field sobriety tests and subsequently arrested for driving while intoxicated, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree, and failure to keep right. A chemical breath test showed a blood alcohol content of .14 percent.
Kesel was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing and later released with a court appearance scheduled in Palmyra Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
