The investigation into a domestic disturbance complaint in the village of Penn Yan resulted in the arrest of a 23-year-old Himrod woman.
It is alleged that Bethany Rose had choked the victim by wrapping her hands around the victim’s neck and pinned him against a wall, not allowing him to leave. Rose is also accused of punching the victim in the face and kicking him in the chest.
Rose was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing, unlawful imprisonment, and harassment. She was held at the Yates County Jail to await arraignment to obtain an Order of Protection.
