On Tuesday, Sarah Jamieson was arrested following a shoplifting complaint at the Target on Commons Boulevard in the Town of Victor.
Deputies allege that Jamieson was in possession of $201.24 worth of stolen merchandise at approximately 8:45 p.m. During the course of the investigation, the 32-year-old was also found to be in possession of narcotics.
Jamieson was charged with Petit Larceny and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree. She was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charges in Victor Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
