A Georgia man is facing charges in Schuyler County.
According to the Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office, Ankit Patel of Warner Robins, Georgia was arrested Wednesday and charged with Sexual Abuse and Unlawful Imprisonment. Patel is accused of restraining a person and subjecting them to sexual contact without consent.
Patel was held for arraignment in Schuyler County Court.
No other details are available this time.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
