A 19-year-old from Genoa is facing charges after reportedly tossing eggs at cars at the Finger Lakes Mall.
The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office says John Kreydatus was behind the egg-throwing incident on October 12, when a vehicle was seen driving around the mall and hitting parked cars. He then left the scene.
Kreydatus turned himself in on Thursday at the Public Safety Building. He’s charged with two counts of third-degree criminal tampering and is set to appear in Aurelius Town Court on November 12 at 7 p.m.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
