SHARE NOW

A Geneva woman was ticketed for allegedly causing a two-car accident in Hopewell on Friday that resulted in her being airlifted to Strong for head and leg injuries.

31-year-old Kaitlyn Hubright was driving east on Routes 5 and 20 when she rear-ended a car in front of her that had slowed down to make a left turn into a driveway.

The driver of the car that was struck, 61-year-old William Parker, of Farmington, was taken to Thompson Hospital for minor internal injuries.  His passenger was checked over at the scene and released.

Hubright was ticketed for following too closely, unsafe speed, and failure to wear a seatbelt.
