A Geneva woman was arrested by Seneca Falls Police on Tuesday on a bench warrant.
The warrant for Teona Martin’s arrest stems from a bench warrant that was issued for her arrest after she allegedly failed to appear in court on a previous petit larceny charge. She was also charged with bail jumping.
Martin was sent to Seneca County Jail to await arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
