A Geneva woman was arrested Sunday by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office on charges of criminal mischief and harassment.
During a domestic incident, Kari Walsh-Forshay is accused of throwing a glass decoration belonging to someone else and shattering it. During the same incident, the 32-year-old allegedly kicked a cooler that was on the ground, which struck a woman in the leg, causing discomfort. It is also alleged that Walsh-Forshay made threats to the victim causing fear and alarm.
Walsh-Forshay was being held for CAP Court so an Order of Protection could be issued.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
