The investigation into a domestic incident on Goodman Street in the city of Geneva resulted in the arrest of a Geneva woman.
26-year-old Charmaine Heidelburg is accused of entering and remaining unlawfully in a home with the intent to cause physical injury with a knife to another person. Police say Heidelburg’s alleged actions were in full view of a child under the age of 17.
Heidelburg was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and burglary, both felonies, along with misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child and menacing.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office assisted with this arrest.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
