Police arrested a Geneva woman on Thursday on a bench warrant issued out of Geneva City Court.
The warrant was issued for Taniya Fields’ arrest after she allegedly failed to appear on a DWI arrest.
Fields was taken into custody and was held to await CAP Court arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
