A Geneva woman is facing drug charges in Seneca Falls.
The arrest of Donna Disanto occurred following an alleged shoplifting incident at a local business. According to Seneca Falls Police, on two separate dates, Donna Disanto allegedly stole merchandise from the business and left the property without rendering payment.
After Disanto was taken into custody, the 64-year-old was allegedly found to be in possession of cocaine. Disanto was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Disanto was released on an appearance ticket and will answer the charges at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
