A Geneva woman was arrested by the Seneca Falls Police Department on a bench warrant.
The charge against Alyssa Rondon stemmed from an arrest for criminal possession of a controlled substance that occurred on June 12th. Rondon is accused of failing to appear in court on September 11th and a bench warrant was issued for her arrest.
Rondon was charged with bail jumping and was taken to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
