An incident at Walmart in Victor on Saturday led to the arrest of a Geneva woman.
Melissa Teeter’s arrest followed a report of shoplifting at the retailer. An investigation by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office revealed the 35-year-old had taken clothing worth approximately $15.
Tetter was charged with petit larceny and was released on an appearance ticket for Victor Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
