A Geneva resident was arrested Thursday by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office on a warrant issued out of Waterloo Town Court.
The warrant for Maryagnes Thrope was issued for two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Thrope was brought to the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center and is awaiting CAP Court.
The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office in Thrope’s arrest
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
