Two Geneva residents are charged with felonies after an investigation determined they intended to sell approximately 100 counterfeit Oxycodone pills to another person in Phelps. A field test done on the pills determined they contained Fentanyl.
30-year-old Joequell Solomon and 23-year-old Emily Kerr were charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance. They were also charged with endangering the welfare of a child when it was determined there was a child in the car at the time they possessed the drugs.
Solomon and Kerr were released on appearance tickets.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by New York State Police and the city of Geneva Police Department in its investigation.
