The investigation into a larceny in Wayne County resulted in the arrest of a Geneva man.
A sheriff’s deputy responded to the Aldi Supermarket in Lyons for the report of a larceny on Saturday. Employees reported Joseph Gonzalez had entered the store and concealed items in a jacket before leaving the store without paying for them. Gonzalez was located a short time later and arrested for petit larceny.
Following arraignment, Gonzalez was released on an appearance ticket for Lyons Town Court
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
