On Monday, the Geneva Police Department arrested a local man following a domestic incident and a reported violation of a court order.
Pedro Morales-Gómez, 40, was taken into custody at the Ontario County Jail. Authorities allege that Morales-Gómez entered the home of another person without permission, a direct violation of a “stay away” order of protection previously issued by the City of Geneva Criminal Court.
Morales-Gómez has been charged with Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree and Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree. He was processed and held for further action by the court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
