A Geneva man was arrested early Sunday morning following a traffic stop at the intersection of State Route 5 and Depot Road in the town of Hopewell.
Robert Dickinson was charged with driving while intoxicated following an investigation by deputies with the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
The 32-year-old Dickinson was issued Uniform Traffic Tickets for DWI with prior convictions, crossing left of pavement markings, no turn signal, and having an open alcoholic beverage inside of the vehicle.
Dickinson will appear in Hopewell Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
