An 83-year-old Geneva man was arrested early Tuesday morning in connection with a prior impaired driving case.
Seneca County Sheriff Tim Thompson says deputies arrested Maurice Gaglianese at approximately 12:30 a.m. in the Town of Waterloo. Gaglianese was taken into custody on a warrant for failure to appear related to a previous charge of driving while ability impaired by drugs.
Gaglianese was turned over to Seneca County correctional staff and is awaiting centralized arraignment proceedings.
The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Geneva Police Department in the arrest.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
