A traffic stop conducted by the Waterloo Police Department resulted in the arrest of a 39-year-old Geneva man.
It was determined the passenger in the car that was stopped, Juan Rivera, had a pending arrest warrant through the Seneca Falls Town Court.
Rivera was taken into custody and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. He was then brought to the Seneca County Jail to await arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
