Four Arrested for Allegedly Stealing From Junius Business

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office arrested four Syracuse residents following the investigation into the alleged theft of $1,266.74 worth of merchandise from a business on Route 318 in the town of Junius.

44-year-old Kiera Freeman was charged with criminal possession of stolen property and conspiracy, while 23-year-old Darcy Walker, 24-year-old Jamesha Stith, and 22-year-old Akeryonna Sawyer were charged with grand larceny and conspiracy.

Walker was the only one of the four who was still being held in police custody following arraignment.

State Police assisted the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office in the arrests.
