The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that a Queens woman faces multiple charges after allegedly bringing prohibited items into the county jail.
Deputies say 26-year-old Shenelle Erisnor of Forest Hills was arrested Sunday afternoon and charged with two counts of first-degree promoting prison contraband and two counts of second-degree promoting prison contraband.
Investigators say Erisnor was being booked into the Seneca County Correctional Facility after allegedly bringing contraband into Five Points Prison when she was found to be concealing additional items. Deputies say the items included marijuana, loose tobacco, a controlled substance, and a razor blade.
Erisnor was arraigned in Centralized Arraignment Court and released to appear in Romulus Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
