Florida Man Arrested on Felony Wayne County Warrant

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a City of Quincy, Florida, man following a warrant investigation that lasted just under one year.

Deputies arrested Tylor J. Felix, age 27, of Lakeview Point Road, City of Quincy, Florida, for Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree, a Class D Felony, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a Class A Misdemeanor.

On October 19th, 2022, Felix was posted to the Wayne County Sheriffs Office Facebook page as that week’s Wanted Wednesday Individual. Deputies fielded many tips after that post, helping this investigation move forward. Deputies learned that Felix fled to the State of Florida, staying with family and friends. Deputies continued to check local addresses while at the same time checking addresses in Florida.

Deputies were then able to narrow in on Felix’s location, as they worked closely with Florida authorities, even without the cooperation of the Felix family. During this time, Felix moved around between Quincy, Florida, Hollywood, Florida, and even making trips back to New York State, however Felix’s friends and family were not cooperative with authorities.

On Sunday, August 20th a traffic stop was conducted on Felix after he dropped his girlfriend off at work, and he was taken into custody by the Fort Lauderdale Police Department. Felix was then lodged in their jail and held.

On Wednesday, September 20th, Deputies flew down to Florida, extraditing Felix back to New York State. Felix was then processed at the Wayne County Jail and will appear in Wayne County Court at a later date and time.

It should be noted that Felix also has three warrants with the Clyde Police Department, one with the Ontario County Sheriffs Office, and one with Seneca County Sheriffs Office.
