A year-long joint investigation by authorities in Steuben County and the FBI has resulted in the arrest of a Corning man on multiple child pornography charges.
The investigation into 29-year-old Odell Dotson began in September of 2023 and eventually led to the seizure of several electronic devices from his home. The findings of their investigation were presented to the Steuben County Grand Jury late this year.
Dotson was arrested the day after Christmas on six felonies, three counts of promoting sexual performance, and three counts of possessing a sexual performance by a child.
Dotson is being held at the Steuben County Jail without bail.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
