A Farmington woman was arrested Tuesday on an active warrant out of Monroe County.
The arrest of Kimberly Maurer by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office stemmed from deputies conducting a traffic stop on State Route 332 for a traffic violation. The warrant for Maurer was for a charge of criminal contempt.
Maurer was taken into custody without incident and was turned over to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
