A Farmington woman was arrested Tuesday on a bench warrant issued out of Farmington Town Court.
Deputies located Lysette Landrau at the Budget Inn in Farmington and took her into custody without incident. The warrant was issued after Landrau had allegedly failed to appear on a prior petit larceny charge.
Landrau was taken to the Ontario County Jail, where she was brought before CAP Court and was released on an appearance ticket.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
