Farmington Woman Arrested on Assault Charge

A Farmington woman was arrested on an assault charge following the investigation into an incident that happened earlier this month.

Michelle Benner is accused of pushing another woman to the ground resulting in the victim suffering an injury to her knee. Benner turned herself in at the Ontario County Jail and was placed into custody without incident.

Benner was arraigned at CAP Court and will return to Farmington Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.
