Ontario County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Farmington man Saturday following a single-vehicle crash in the Town of Victor.
Sheriff’s officials say the arrest of 46-year-old Jesse Volpe stemmed from a car accident on Phillips Road. Further investigation determined Volpe had been operating a motor vehicle on a public highway while in an intoxicated condition.
Volpe was taken into custody and transported to the Ontario County Jail, where he was held pending arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
