A Farmington man was arrested on an outstanding warrant, according to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say 33-year-old Christopher Avila was taken into custody on a warrant stemming from an incident in December 2023, when Avila was released on a ticket for disrupting religious services, sixth-degree conspiracy, and criminal trespass but failed to appear in court.
Avila was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment at CAP Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
