A Farmington man was arrested by the Seneca Falls Police Department after officers were dispatched to a local residence for a reported domestic dispute.
An investigation determined Mark Asproules had made contact with and allegedly pushed a protected party who was covered under a full stay-away Order of Protection. The 63-year-old was taken into custody and charged with felony criminal contempt and harassment, a violation.
Additionally, officers discovered an active arrest warrant for Asproules stemming from a previous incident on January 13th. In that case, he was also accused of violating a full stay-away Order of Protection and a warrant had been issued for misdemeanor criminal contempt.
After being processed at the Seneca Falls Police Department, Asproules was taken to the Seneca County Jail to await arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
