A traffic stop in Lyons on Christmas Eve resulted in the arrest of a Farmington man.
The charges against Jaden Rowe stem from an investigation into a family trouble where it was reported the 26-year-old did not have permission to use a car. While responding to the call, Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputies spotted Rowe driving the car and failing to stop for a stop sign. After stopping the vehicle, deputies determined that Rowe was allegedly driving while intoxicated.
Rowe was brought to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office where he submitted to a breath test resulting in a .12% blood alcohol content.
Rowe was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving with .08% or more of alcohol, failure to stop at a stop sign and driving a motor vehicle while using a portable electronic device.
Rowe was released on tickets for Lyons Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
