Fairport Man Accused of Fake Credit Cards at Bristol Mountain Resort

SHARE NOW

A Fairport man has been arrested for allegedly using fraudulent credit cards at Bristol Mountain Ski Resort.

According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, on several occasions, Joseph Franchuk used fraudulent credit cards to purchase day passes for the ski resort. The 19-year-old would get his money back while also receiving the day pass. This act allegedly resulted in a financial loss of $544.00 for Bristol Mountain.

Franchuk was charged with theft of services and petit larceny and was released on an appearance ticket for South Bristol Town Court.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
