A 32-year-old man has been charged following an assault at a bar in the Village of Fair Haven last month.
Cayuga County Sheriff Brian Schenck reports that Craig Bazydlo, of Fair Haven, was arrested on July 22 and charged with third-degree assault, a misdemeanor.
Deputies responded to the Little Sodus Inn on June 29 for a reported fight. Investigators say Bazydlo struck a woman in the head with his fist, causing an injury that required medical evaluation.
Bazydlo was processed at the Cayuga County Public Safety Building and released on an appearance ticket. He’s scheduled to appear in Sterling Town Court on August 13.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
