A traffic stop on State Route 54A in the town of Jerusalem early Sunday morning resulted in the arrest of a 23-year-old Elmira man.
The driver of the car, Zackery Wood, was placed through a series of standardized field sobriety tests and was subsequently arrested by the Yates County Sheriff’s Office. Wood was taken to the Yates County Public Safety Building where he submitted to a chemical breath test.
He was charge with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated and failure to keep right.
Wood was released on appearance tickets for Jerusalem Town Court.
