A Long Beach, New York man is facing charges after being stopped by Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies late Thursday night.
Deputies pulled over 34-year-old Ryan Murphy around 11:51 p.m. on July 18 in the Town of Junius for operating a vehicle with no or inadequate headlights. Following an investigation at the scene, Murphy was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.
He was transported to the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center for processing and later released with an appearance ticket.
Murphy is scheduled to appear in the Town of Junius Court at a later date to answer the charge.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
