The operator of a car spotted by Penn Yan Police that was allegedly driving without any headlights or tail lights on Liberty Street early Friday morning was arrested.
While speaking with the driver, Megan Pielach, of Penn Yan, officers observed signs of intoxication and placed her through standardized field sobriety tests. Pielach was taken into custody and brought to the Yates County Public Safety Building for a chemical test.
Pielach was released on appearance tickets for Penn Yan Village Court.
