Police have arrested a Dundee woman for allegedly stealing a dog.
During a traffic stop conducted by the Yates County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday night, Colleen Fiorilla was found to be in possession of a black-and-white dog reported stolen from a residence in the village of Penn Yan earlier in the evening.
The 32-year-old Fiorilla was charged with criminal possession of stolen property and was turned over to the Penn Yan Police Department for further investigation.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
