On Tuesday, Yates County Deputies arrested a Dundee man following the execution of an active arrest warrant issued by the Town of Starkey Court.
James Mahan, 55, of Dundee, was taken into custody at approximately 5:19 PM. The arrest stems from an investigation into several alleged offenses, including a domestic-related incident and the unauthorized use of a vehicle.
Mahan has been charged with Aggravated Family Offense, Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree, and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.
Following his arrest, Mahan was transported to the Yates County Jail to await Centralized Arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
