Dundee Man Arrested for Grand Larceny and Possession of Stolen Property

Last Tuesday, Yates County Deputies responded to Himrod Farm Supply in Dundee following a report of stolen equipment.

Investigators determined that 35-year-old Nickolas Jayne, of Dundee, was allegedly in possession of the missing equipment. Jayne was arrested and transported to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office to await CAP arraignment.

The investigation remains active as deputies continue to review the case.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
