A Dundee man was taken into custody over the weekend after causing a disturbance during a medical emergency involving a child at a local trailer park.
According to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a medical call on Saturday at Oakwood Estates Trailer Park in the Village of Dundee. While on scene, deputies encountered 22-year-old Dakota Oshaughnessy, who was reportedly yelling and acting in a disorderly manner.
Despite multiple attempts by deputies to deescalate the situation, Oshaughnessy became increasingly agitated and allegedly attempted to start a physical altercation with another individual at the scene.
He was taken into custody on a charge of Disorderly Conduct. Oshaughnessy is scheduled to appear in Starkey Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
