On Monday, Yates County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested William Casler, 30, of Dundee.
The arrest follows a report of a juvenile receiving inappropriate phone calls and text messages on February 28. A subsequent investigation revealed that Casler allegedly made multiple phone calls and sent several inappropriate text messages to the minor.
Casler is charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Following his arrest, he was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charge in the Town of Milo Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
