Driver Ticketed Following Wayne County MVA

Two people were taken to Newark Wayne Hospital for minor injuries after they were involved in a two-car accident Thursday afternoon in Wayne County.

According to the sheriff’s department, one vehicle failed to yield to another at the intersection of Catchpole and Covell Roads in the town of Rose resulting in the collision. The driver of the vehicle that failed to yield was ticketed for failure to yield the right of way The sheriff’s department did not identify any of the people involved in the accident.

Deputies were assisted on the scene by Wayne County ALS and the Rose Fire Department.
