One driver was ticketed after an investigation into a two-car crash at State Routes 5 and 20 and South Avenue in the village of Bloomfield.
It was determined by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office that Sandra Gates, of Dansville, was driving a 2013 Infanti G37 and failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign when she struck a 2018 Audi RS3 driven by Robert Armitage of Honeoye Falls.
Armitage suffered minor injuries and was taken to Thompson Hospital for evaluation.
Gates was ticketed for failing to yield and will appear in East Bloomfield Town Court at a later date.
East Bloomfield Fire and Canandaigua Emergency Squad assisted at the scene.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
