HomePolice BlotterDriver Ticketed Following Two-Car Accident in OntarioDriver Ticketed Following Two-Car Accident in OntarioThu, October 26, 2023 SHARE NOW One of the drivers involved in a two-car accident at the intersection of State Routes 350 and 104 in the town of Ontario has been ticketed by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office. Karl Aman, of Ontario, was traveling west on Route 104 when his brakes apparently failed and he rear-ended a van driven by Daniel Bogel, of Walworth. A witness told police that Aman’s brake lights did activate but his car did not slow down. Aman was ticketed for inadequate brakes, unlicensed operation, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Bogel was taken to Newark Wayne Community Hospital for minor injuries while Aman was taken to Rochester General Hospital for moderate injuries. Deputies were assisted on the scene by Ontario Ambulance, Williamson Ambulance, Wayne County ALS, and the Ontario Fire Department.
