One driver was ticketed after a three-car accident at the intersection of Slocum Road and State Route 104 in the town of Ontario.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, as 32-year-old Tanya Fisher, of Ontario, approached stopped traffic on State Route 104, when her foot slipped off the brake and struck a stopped car that was being driven by 32-year-old Xavier Quinones, of Rochester. Quinones car was then forced into the rear end of a third car that was also stopped in traffic and driven by 42-year-old Andrea Vandergrift, of Marion.
Quinones was taken to Rochester General Hospital by Ontario Ambulance for an evaluation.
Fisher was ticketed for following too closely.
Deputies were assisted on the scene by Ontario Fire, Williamson Ambulance, Ontario Ambulance, and Wayne County ALS.
