A head-on crash in Ontario County Thursday sent two people to Strong Memorial Hospital.
According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, Colin Granville, of Fairport, was driving north on State Route 96 when he allegedly ran a steady red light proceeding through the intersection with Turk Hill Road in the town of Victor and struck a car head-on that was attempted to turn left. The collision resulted in airbag deployment in both cars.
The driver of the car that was struck, Kaylee Maul, and her 15-year-old passenger, both of West Henrietta, were taken to Strong with non-life-threatening injuries. Granville suffered minor injuries and was not transported.
Granville was issued a traffic citation.
