A Palmyra man was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital after a pickup truck collided with the motorcycle he was riding.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, Michael Fields was riding west on State Route 31 in Palmyra Sunday afternoon when the pickup driven by Claire Bassage failed to yield the right of way when she turned into the oncoming lane to enter a driveway.
Bassage was ticketed for failure to yield. It was not immediately known the extent of the injuries suffered by Fields.
Finger Lakes Ambulance and the Palmyra Fire Department assisted the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office at the scene.
